Wu Wai-yiu papers
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of Wu Wai-yiu's collected materials on film director King HU (胡金銓), mainly includes printed publications and multi-media materials produced in Hong Kong and Taiwan from 1958-2013. The collected materials, in majority are reproduction copies.
This collection also includes other misc materials related to Lingnan University’s event and people.
館藏包括胡維堯女士所收集有關胡金銓導演的資料，以1958-2013年期間香港及台灣的印刷出版物，以及多媒體資料為主。其收藏品主要是市面銷售本和複印本。
館藏亦同時包括胡維堯女士所收集有關香港嶺南大學的資料。

Biographical History
Ms. Wu Wai-yiu (胡維堯) is a former staff of Chinese Language Education and Assessment Centre (CLEAC), Lingnan University. She joined the Lingnan College since Jan 1977 and is retired on June 2004. She is also the niece of film director King HU (胡金銓).
胡維堯女士於1977年1月加入嶺南學院中文系，任兼職講師。1989年9月轉為全職講師(College Lecturer)，繼而曾任大學講師(University Lecturer)及助理教授(Assistant Professor)。1997年9月轉往語言中心-中國語文教學與測試中心，任高級語言導師(Senior Language Instructor)。2004年6月退休，在中心兼課至2008年6月。
胡女士同時亦是著名導演胡金銓的侄女。

Arrangement
The records are arranged in two series.
Series 1: WU's collection of King Hu (胡金銓), 1958 - 2013. Contains here are Wu’s collected materials on King HU, including audio-visual materials, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, book publication, etc, Collection is divided into subseries according to material formats and is organized chronologically.
Series 2: WU's collection of Lingnan-related materials.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Two cartons of materials were donated by Ms. WU Wai-Yiu on 10 Jul 2014.
