This collection consists of departmental manual from 1985. Departmental manual outlines the structure and development, as well as the academic programs of the Department of Accountancy. The materials provide detailed information on departmental objectives, advisory board members and external examiniers, academic matters (courses and syllubuses, listing of academic staff and their responsibilities), and administrative matters (organizational chart, examination regulations, miscellaneous administrative procedures).

Biographical / Historical
The Department of Accountancy (formerly named as Department of Accountancy Studies, and Department of Accountancy and Finance) is one of the disciplines under Faculty of Business in Lingnan University. It offers Honors Degree programme in Accountancy which equipped students with both theoretical and practical accounting knowledge to deal with the challenge of the accountancy profession in an increasingly complex business environment. The department also offers Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (PGDA) for in-depth study in Accounting field.
