Letter from Yorke Allen, Jr. to Dr. Lee Sui-ming, 1966-12-27
Scope and Contents
The letter indicated the decision of the Trustees of Lingnan University to donate US$1,000 non-recurring contribution to Lingnan U.A.A. Primary School toward the cost of acquiring books and equipment. The Trustees observed the Primary school under the leadership of Dr. Lee Sui-ming did a good work and decided to acknowledge this with such donation.
According to Lingnan Newsletters. vol. 52 published in 1967 Aug 31 (1967年8月31日出版《嶺南通訊》第52期), documented the receipt of this donation. The amount was used for establishing a memorial library be named after the Trustees of Lingnan University, to appreciate this donation.
