The record documented the details of the trip of Edmund W. Meiseihelder to Hong Kong and Guangzhou in April 1994. Edmund W. Meiseihelder suggested to his fellow 1936-17 Exchange students to establish the "1936-37 Exchange Student Scholarship Fund" with a total of US$30,000 to aid deserving students of Lingnan (University) College at Guangzhou.
