Letter from Trustees of Lingnan University to the Vice Chancellor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1966-04-15
Scope and Contents
The letter was issued by Yorke Allen, Jr, on behalf of the Trustees of Lingnan University, addressing to the attention of Vice-Chancellor, of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The letter was accepted and signed by H. T. Wu, Registrar and Secretary of the Council of Chinese University of Hong Kong dated April 27, 1966.
The letter constituted an agreement between the Trustees of Lingnan University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in establishment The Lingnan Institute of Business Administration, for a period of two-year from 30 June, 1967 to 30 June, 1969.
It documented the detailed terms and conditions, including the initial set up fund that the Trustees in support of the establishment of the Institute by June 30, 1967, and the ongoing fund in support of the operations of the Institute in each of the two next succeeding academic years till June 30, 1969. It also set forth the obligation of the Institute to the Trustees upon receipt of the fund.
