Memorandum to Trustees of Lingnan University and The United Board for Christian Colleges in China, 1948 March 18
Scope and Contents
This memorandum documented the comments of Mr. Hayes, President of the Lingnan Board towards the agreement submitted by the United Board for Christian Colleges in China to the Trustees of Lingnan University about the collaboration among two bodies and to reinstate the responsibilities that Trustees of Lingnan should comply.
The draft was originally attached with a letter from Dr. Chung W. K. (Chairman) and Mr. Wong K. M. (Secretary), representing Board of Directors of Lingnan, to Dr. Chien Shu Fan, requesting support to continuing the support of employing foreign professors and transfer of property [from the United Board for developing University in Canton].
