Biographical / Historical
The Department of English is one of the disciplines under Faculty of Arts in Lingnan University. It offers Honors Degree programme in Contemporary English Studies, which consists of three interwoven strands: Contemporary literature in English, Applied linguistic studies, and Language studies. It also offers two postgraduate degrees, the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English, to motivate postgraduate students in the special fields of Contemporary English Studies.
