Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains Dr. Lee Sui-ming's extensive research files on the history of Lingnan University during the re-organization of the higher educational institutions in Guangzhou, China between 1945-1952.
Files include the original works under Dr. Lee's authorship or editorialship, correspondences with 周鍾岐教授 and 謝扶雅教授 dated between 1985-1986, and letters to and from 周鍾岐教授 and 陳佐舜校長, assorted newspapers clippings and transcripts of speeches are also included. Some of these materials have been referenced for 《嶺南大學》 under his authorship.

Abstract
周鍾岐教授透過青島山東大學的例子，陳述復辦嶺南大學的可能性。周教授自責當年把原廣州嶺南大學康樂樓讓給中山大學使用，又同時鑑於國內對海外僑胞的愛國熱忱甚為重視，故希望能趁機盡力促成嶺南復校，並提議可要求中央教育部將康樂樓的華僑捐贈嶺大的校產按值撥還，以便在香港嶺南學院籌備恢復嶺南大學，重建榮光堂。
