Scope and Contents
This letter attached with another correspondence: Letter from Bernard J. McMahon, Attorney-in-Charge, China Claims Program, Foreign Claims Settlement Commission, to Mr. Yorke Allen, Jr. dated 1970 Oct 23, requesting the Trustees of Lingnan University to submit information in supporting the claims filed against the Chinese Communist Regime for losses sustained by Nationals of the United States (Claim No. CN-0392 ; Decision No. CN-358). Mr. Yorke Allen, Jr. asked Mr. James A. Cameron to review Lingnan's file with the United Board for getting the required evidence.
