Legal document: In the Matter of the Application of Trustees of Lingnan University: For an Order approving an Amendment to its Charter, 1962 June 20
Scope and Contents
This sub-series consists of the reproduction copies of few key documents, documenting the action of the Trustees of Lingnan University to amend the Charter of the Corporation, by adding the following statements:
"When deemed advisable by it by reason of political or economic conditions prevailing in China, the Trustees of Lingnan University shall also receive and disburse funds for any purpose contributing to the advancement of the formal education of Chinese and other Far-Eastern students in Asia and other areas."
The document also recorded the name change history of Trustees of Lingnan since 1893.
